Phil Dirt - Reverb Central - PO Box 1609, Felton, CA 95018-1609 USA Vibrasonic - Into Sunshine

 | There's something magical about this band. Vibrasonic play surf instros strained through psychedelic tones totally different than the Mermen. It's very pop-psych oriented, with sitar effected guitar, phased production, and more. These guys occupy the gap between Pink Floyd and Time Box, and Dick Dale. I have enjoyed everything I've heard from them to date! In fact, I'll go one further...I think these guys could be among the best three or four envelope pushers around. That's a short list, shared only by the Mermen, GT Stringer, and maybe Brazil 2001. |

Track by Track Review
Psychedelic (Vocal)
Oscillating psychedelic vocal that is utterly captivating.
Surf (Instrumental)
Great! A new version (remix) of the tune from their CD, this time all phased out...surf with mega phase shift! Stellar! Fantastic melodic crystalline surf after the "Journey To The Stars" direction, but not like that at all.
SurfPsychedelic (Instrumental)
If ever there was doubt that Vibrasonic was a surf band, this should shoot it in the head. Major fury and fire, written with "Miserlou" in the heart. Great psycho-surf guitar tones!
Into Sunshine [Phase Mix]

Psychedelic (Instrumental)
Grand superphaseshift remix of the first track. Superb, even better than the original mix!
