artworkThe Italians had a burgeoning garage psych scene in the early-to-mid eighties, with several labels specializing in the new scene. This most interesting Italian band issued this single in 1982. It is in their usual primitive garage-psych style, which was very thick, sorta guttural, and rhythmic. The tracks here are Strange Dolls (a thick and totally killer rhythmic track), Baron Samedi, and Make Up, with Wipe Out as the instro on the A-side.

This is dissonant, almost out of tune, with edgie speedy guitar work, and muddy drums. Instead of mimicking the Ron Wilson drum solo, the drummer moves in different directions, and the guitarist fills with pick slides. Semi fuzzy, and definitely primitive.
