What a cool song! "Skahara" is clearly in the sixties ska tradition, yet is much smoother horn-wise than most vintage ska tracks. The audio mimmicks the Jamaican studios of the early sixties. Some great horn work, and the rest of the band rocks! Simply cool!
Surf (Instrumental)
Bob Hafner's drinking epic gets a rich performance. Not as loud and intense as the Apemen, but fuller than most others. Pure period surf.
