Track by Track Review
Surf (Instrumental)
"Monzan" is a slightly moody song with a spaghetti western melody. Its western appeal is matched by its surf tone. Delicate double picking and a desert beat. Quite nice.
Surf (Instrumental)
This is more of a riff rocker - a romp with splash. While it's not particularly melodic, its occasional glissandos are endearing.
Surf (Instrumental)
Stereo muted guitars provide a spaghetti surf bed augmented with shallow whammy chords and a fine desert melody. "Espuelas" has a solid melody and visual sound. It's slightly moody - maybe even sad.
Surf (Instrumental)
A richly textured rhythm and thick bass drive an original surf instro with cool modern chords and slightly dark melody. "Bonanza" is thick in the way Ralph and the Garage Surfers / Unknowns used to make surf instros. It's not the TV theme.
Surf (Instrumental)
At seven minutes, this live performance of "Bonanza " goes on for longer than the song really supports, but the performance is rock solid.
