Track by Track Review
Surf Rock (Instrumental)
"Go Go" is a loud, aggressive riff rocker with cool fuzz and great drums. Screams infiltrate from time to time.
Surf Rock (Instrumental)
"Da Cat vs. Da Bull" is a good surf instro with a tasteful melody line and significant grit. Stomp chord break, tuff drums, and edgy tone. This is a solid track!
Surf Rock (Instrumental)
Moody bass and superb drums support spooky spy guitar lines. "Bad Man In White" is a very cool song. It lumbers along, has a lonely sound, and, while simple, really does the trick! I like this a lot.
Surf Rock (Instrumental)
Big rock chords and fuzz lead. "Nam Song" is sort of a biker anthem kind of song, tonally reminiscent of Davie Allan. Intense, loud, aggressive at mid tempo, and those chop chords and the tortures whammy...
Surf Rock (Instrumental)
This is a slow song that's not exactly soft. Very effective drums and bass, and some engaging guitar lines provide drama and a grit. "New Big Wave" is a very cool track.
Surf Rock (Instrumental)
Spies on surfboards... The manner in which the melody evolves and tonally projects espionage is interesting. Jangle chords back the lead, and solid drums and bass complete the picture. The ska rhythms in the middle are rally cool. Nice track.
