 | Boy, howdy! Head guitarista Jeff Miller & his buds bassundo rumblo John Dahlin and skin basher Tim Dean, have cut a dandy 3 song 7" ish'd on his own Velocity Records label. To say that Jeff is a surf fan and player is like saying O. J. took a stab at salvaging his marriage. Anyone who sends me an autographed picture of Kathy Marshall - Queen Of The Surf Guitar knows of what he plays! After completing this disc, they've added a new guitar god Billy Perry to fill the rhythm spot. A strong recommendation from the surfmeister, despite the lo-fi sound. |
Picks: Cannon Beach, Steel Pier, Stomp The Go Pedal

Garage Surf (Instrumental)
"Cannon Beach" has been performed by several of the Oregon bands, the Surf Trio, the Roof Dogs, etc. It's a progressional but pleasing number with a basic surf feel.
Garage Surf (Instrumental)
This Impacts tune is reverbed out, and played with enough energy to compare to the original. It's more surfy, with glissandoes, and no lap steel. The dribbling double picked parts are a nice change.
Garage Surf (Instrumental)
"Push the gas pedal all the way to the floor, and hold it there." Then, an engine revs up, and the song takes off. Fast paced stomp on demand surf progression with big chord power. Sizzling double picked leads, and chunky delivery.
