Last Train To Shartlesville

Country Blues Rock (Instrumental)
Lively roots country twang tone rides on a circling riff based in the blues. Excellent musicianship and sound. Quite spunky.
Country Blues Rock (Instrumental)
"Cat Burglar" is an easy going track with a catchy guitar pattern and perfectly matched bass and drums. The melody is a slithering after-sundown adventure with tongue in cheek. Part lounge, part spy, and all fun.
Country Blues Rock (Instrumental)
Bobbie Gentry's "Ode To Billie Joe" is laid out with an easy gate and swampy Joe South feeling. Easily the most fun on the disc, and certainly the most recognizable track too. Smooth, edgy, and very genuine. Some very nice touches, like feedback and saturated delay.
Country Blues Rock (Instrumental)
Flowing slowly, "Exit Sandman" presents a scene of gentle rain on a grassy plain overlooking a wide river. This is a really fine track, beautiful in its flow and tone. Some drama, and lots of emotional release.
