This rare single from 1966 sports a so-so pop-rock a-side, and a surprisingly cool surf instro on the flip. The label is from the midwest, but no idea where the band was from, though I heard once they were Bay Area. Anyone know?

Surf (Instrumental)
A basic muted guitar p[lays against an organ's haunting refrain. There are some really nice muted lines, along with "hey" chants. "The Wanted" is an obscure surf instro that came very late in the genre's first run. It's infectious and sports some cool drums. Quite nice.
