Danny Twang does a fairly straight cover of Jerry Lordan's "Apache," though it's thickened up substantially. Based onThe Shadows hit, it's warm and tribal and lush.

This is an alternate version of "Kaleidoscope," which is a slow number with big twang and charm. It moves in an easy flow, with a hint of Austin. Slow double picked lines suggest the Mediterranean.

The Wedge dotdotdotdot

This is a solid, traditional cover of Dick Dale and his Del-tones' "The Wedge." Spunk throughout, especially the great drums. Excellent!
