Track by Track Review
Surf (Instrumental)
Center stage is a mean and nasty surf riff over a thundering back track. It's a short track, clocking in at 1:24, but long enough to satisfy.
Surf (Instrumental)
Tasty surf picking, some damped some open, and all moody. "Ghost In The Mirror" has a slightly haunted sound. The mid section is fuzzed out, while the rest is reverby.
Surf (Instrumental)
A somewhat Mexican melody greets you as you delve into "Dashboard Burrito." It drops into a whammified dramatic power chord feast that serves as a bridge between verses.
Surf (Instrumental)
Grodie low-E surf and slam for the chop of a storm surge. Mean and accented with an ultra heavy metal break, "Phenobarbital" goes right to the heart of a bad hair day. Crashing glissandoes and thundering danger.
Surf (Instrumental)
"Devil Dressed In White" is built on a semi playful upbeat riff. It's a little stiff and repetitive, but sports some flair and enticement.
Surf (Instrumental)
Dark surf for the alley, with ample twang and punch. The riff is almost melodic, and certainly holds attention. relentless.
Progressive Psychedelic Surf (Instrumental)
Wah-wah pedal instro space twirl, like a tame version of Vibrasonic with more clarity. This is a great variation on the surf idea, intensely psycho-rhythmic, and very pleasing. The almost progressive rock ethic merged with the surf theme is really cool.
Surf (Instrumental)
"Demon Stampede" exists in the realm of the extra weird psychedelic swirl, where Vibrasonic lived and added phasing. The combo of surf guitar and swirling orbits of dust makes this a very cool track in deed!
Surf (Instrumental)
Low-E double picked guitar and a punk backtrack shred into mighty mean territory, where speed and evil cohabit the dark corners. This is a powerful track.
Surf (Instrumental)
Whammied surf chords and dark images of storm surf and risky short board moves on fast moving dark waves. Dangerous surf with a nod to Dick Dale. Tasty.
