| The down sides here are wearing sameness and dreadful mono sound. The upsides are very fast guitar work and intensity of delivery. Better recordings and more development will help. |
Picks: El Danardo, D'ar Ger
Track by Track Review
Surf (Instrumental)
"El Danardo" races on very fast double picked fire with everyone playing at their fastest. The drums rock, and the bass rumbles. It ends in several reverb kicks. Oh, for a better recording!
Surf (Instrumental)
Dark and heavy, with some fine guitar licks. "D'ar Ger" is a fairly unique track by virtue of its melody and structure. Heavy, fast, and fiery.
Surf (Instrumental)
The melody line here is original, but the bridges are lust intense, and not really musical. This is a brutal workout, but not particularly interesting.
Surf (Instrumental)
Big and thrashy, with no limits. Assaultive guitar, very fast, and yet, it's just a workout. The speed of the playing is impressive, much like The Torpedoes, but the song is not interesting.
