The Surrounders - The McCoy c/w Windy And Warmdotdotdot
artworkWildly obscure, The Surrounders' single is a two-sided instro in the surf idiom, with the a-side being just barely there, though a lot faster. My money is on the b-side.
Picks: Windy And Warm

The McCoy dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

This has a late fifties sound, but also a presurf structure. The general track reverb gives it a more surf edge, though it's likely not from the right period. Still, it''s one of those tracks that calls up the right ambiance, if only in a riff rockin' format.

Windy And Warm dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

This is a moody version of John D. Loudermilk's "Windy And Warm." Almost taking this light hearted melody into dark territory, The Surrounders employ muted and open lead notes over a muddy band track. Very obscure, not nothing really special.
