Track by Track Review
Surf (Instrumental)
Smooth and warm in some ways, this track paints a picture of unscripted tropical adventure in baggies. "Fuga das Galinhas" is a light summery track with an engaging melody and solid surf rhythm.
Surf (Instrumental)
A catchy rhythm and glissandoes launch uplifting song, which is annotated by ominous chords, giving it a cautionary feeling. "Tuff Turf, O Rebelde" is bouncy and light, yet a little concerned. Quite nice.
Surf (Instrumental)
This is a splendid track, and with this arrangement, it's just so obvious a choice for these guys. Solid and rich, twangy and rhythmic. It's very interesting to hear Super Stereo Surf cover Pollo Del Mar's arrangement of Sidetrack's "2314B." Wonderful!
Adventureios do Bairro Probido

Surf (Instrumental)
"Adventureios do Bairro Probido" is light weight song with some very tasteful guitar work. A relentless backtrack supports the guitars very well. Not really melodic, but very pleasurable.
Surf (Instrumental)
A more moody piece, "Na Morada Dos Covardes" is also more about chords than melody. A South American holiday feeling fractured by a bit of nervousness.
Top Gear
Surf (Instrumental)
Rhythmically solid, but the melody riff for "Top Gear" is - well - riffy. I don't think this is as interesting as the other tracks here.
Surf (Instrumental)
"Namorada de Aluguel" moves softly across the beach with a warm breeze drifting across the horizon. This is a pretty song, slow and soothing in an sunset bay kind of way. Simply nice.
Surf (Instrumental)
Off the beaten path, "Te Pego La Fora" is a fun track with wah wah and a great beat. Not complex at all, just fun!
