Track by Track Review
Surf (Instrumental)
Can you spell M-O-N-S-T-E-R? Dave Wronski is a major guitar hero, and there is no better surf drummer than Dusty Watson. This track completely abuses you before it's through, like a 1 second drop down a fifty foot face only to be placed gently on the beach. You should hear 'em do this live!
Surfabilly Twango (Instrumental)
Surfabilly skate thrash twang at 90 miles per hour. A really cool fifties progression for the nineties. It's not the decade of style origin, it's what you do with it! Very happy and infectious.
Curbshootin' Speed Surf (Instrumental)
Shootin' the curb at 45 mph into oncoming pedestrians with badges... oops! Infectious melody line and great drums.
Jazzy Spy Surf (Instrumental)
What a chunky intro and what a jazzy harmonic transition! Spy-like, ominous, and gorgeous too!
Slithering Spy Surf (Instrumental)
Almost lap steel delivery in slow slithering beauty. A great rendition of the most familiar of all spy themes.
Reflections: Life or Lemming

Surf (Instrumental)
Is the title the ultimate question, or what? Funky twangorama. Dave musta been a jazz player in his other childhood. Gentle tune with extraordinary beauty.
MexiSurf (Instrumental)
Mexican flavored with a real sense of cruisin' down the road South of the border for fishing and tequila sunrises.
Midnight Mystery Surf (Instrumental)
Mysterious sensuous extreme slowness and beauty. Guys who can play this delicately usually can't play fast and furious, and vice versa. Gorgeous tune.
Traveling Surf (Instrumental)
A traveling tune with an intricate melody line accented by glissandoes on both guitar and drums with a sped up break.
Ripping Surf (Instrumental)
Ringing notes mislead you into a shreddin' track with rippin' glissandoes and pounding drums. The glissandoes down get much faster than this!
Whammy Dip Unique Surf (Instrumental)
Odd chords and chunky sound with rounded notes and whammy-dip accents. A cool tune with unusual changes.
Urgent Surf (Instrumental)
The title says it all! A wonderful number with a huge sound. Low, growly and urgent. What character this song has. Most unusual!
Speedster Spy Surf (Instrumental)
Dave and Dusty did this with Jon and the Nightriders, and Dusty does it with Agent Orange, but there is not better version than this. It's blazing! A Euro styled melody on a surf platform played with intensity.
Jazz Funk Surf (Instrumental)
"Church Key" jazz funk. Another unique song that is really nice. Choppy smoothness. Wow
Surf (Instrumental)
Hawaiian Little Grass Shack number that would be hokey if it wasn't so damn cool. Amazing. Much the same character as the Impacts' Sea Horse, but smoother.
