A distant demented chord warbles an opening to this upbeat, happy surf instro. Perhaps similar in intent and sound to The Tikis (post-Monitor, pre-Romans). "Hideous" is anything but. Splendid light surf imagery, summer fun, and splendid melody and rhythm. This is a very fine track!
