Waltz Of The Sirens dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

The lovely melody of "Waltz Of The Sirens" flows slowly with sultry tone and over a lonely beach. There's a bit of drama in the drums, but mostly this is just really pretty and a little sad.

Robbie Rocketpants dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Influenced by "Bumble Bee" in the opening, "Robbie Rocketpants" moves quickly into a really nice melody and easy coastal beat. The sax honks as your woodie meanders on PCH. "Robbie Rocketpants" is a really nice instrumental with lush surf tone and a fluid sound.

El Burro dotdotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

A Spanish chord progression and a touch of "Malaguena," along with wispy island slide generate a gorgeous and mysterious scene in which the creature wanders in the desert sun. Part spaghetti, part Spanish, part flamenco, and all superb!

Surfside dotdotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Long sultry island whammy and tribal drums drink in the gentle undulation of the cove. Slide guitar, liquid chords, and a mysterious mood. Then, as the cowboy beat comes along, "Surfside" gets a big grin and spunk.

Sexray dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Grumbling bass and sparkling guitar, along with accenting sax, give "Sexray" a gutty sound. This is a stomp with great drums and an enticing circular riff.

Smoke Signals dotdotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

"Smoke Signals" is a bouncy and fun track with great drums and bass, and lots of whammy. The Indian melody line is derivative, but it doesn't matter at all, because it's done with such a cool arrangement. Excellent!

El Perro Loco dotdot
Frat Surf (Instrumental)

This is much more a riff rocker than their other material. As such, it doesn't hold interest as well, yet will appeal to the frat-surf contingent.

Ska-Zan dotdotdotdot
Surf Ska (Instrumental)

Ska shouts, pulled chords, and rhythms support a direct sax melody that's all ska. "Ska-Zan" is one fun track. It's a little demented, slightly silly, and very cool!

Waltz Of The Sirens (Reprise) dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

The gorgeous "Waltz Of The Sirens" returns to take us out of the set. Lovely and endearing.
