 | Psicotropicos Deluxe are a diverse sounding band with one foot in punk and one where ever it lands. They are somewhat like a less well written version of The Torpedoes. Samples precede most tracks. |

Track by Track Review
Surf Punk (Instrumental)
Once past the weirdness of the opening, "Planet Of The Sun Moribumdo" is all surf punk thrasher. Reminiscent of The Torpedoes energy and abandon, but short their speed and power, this is nonetheless a shredder for the short board set in some dank concrete canyon.
Subsolo 18
Surf Punk (Instrumental)
"Subsoil 18" is an aggro punk progression surf for skate destruction, with no real melody, but lots of punk energy and snarl.
Surf Punk (Instrumental)
Good grief! "O Gralha" is a dangerous shredder with grandly grode glissandos and into the rocks grit! If you have a flair for punk-surf instros, this will rock your world!
Surf Punk (Instrumental)
"The Monster Of 1,000 Eyes" is a unique track with character and edge, and significant chemistry. Imaginative, kind of Munster-ish, and very fun.
Surf Punk (Instrumental)
fast punk thrash with bumpin' kick drum and no where to runt to. "Dry Martini" is all about loud aggression.
Macaco Macabro
Surf Punk (Instrumental)
Gritty muted chords in a cowboy setting, but with long Link Wray sustain and edge. "Macabre Monkey" is a grin inducing track with a very heavy and strong grind.
Surf Punk (Instrumental)
A forlorned church bell tolls for the dead to open "Quasimodo's Revenge," which becomes an aggressive and grinding punk epic with mondo kick drum. Mostly, this is energy unrestrained.
Surf Punk (Instrumental)
Fast and thrash chord grunting guitar with booming bass and kick drum. Thrash alone does not make a great song, but the energy sure is hard to miss in "The Inferno."
Surf Punk (Instrumental)
Slow muted chords grind out a sub cowboy lope along song that's giant and silly and really cool! "In The Aiming Of The Bacamarte" is hard not to like.
Surf Punk (Vocal)
After a significant silence, the band mates use their voices to laugh their way through "Hawaii Five-0" much in the same way that 23 Skidoo did 2o years ago. very fun.
