artworkContinuing in their happy party style, this fun band has captured four nice tracks on an ep with really cool artwork. A good pick, I'd say.
Picks: She Washed Up (On The Shore), Hey!, Quiet Village, Superamerica

Track by Track Review

She Washed Up (On The Shore) dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

A punchy track, with a solid but simple melody. It has a real SoCal feel to it, with ample twang. A throw away sample opens this track.

Hey! dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Semi oriental or exotica melody line, mystery, smooth playing, nice variations on the glissando, and solid energy. Unusual, and a great track.

Quiet Village dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

This is the Astronauts arrangement of the Les Baxter exotica classic. It is clean and pure surf, but no ground is broken. A very respectful cover.

Superamerica dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

A jazzy and chunky number, very unusual in structure and sound. There is a sorta seventies pop melody line with plenty of vibra-twango coolness.
