Exotic Surf Lounge (Instrumental)
Boy is this a fun track. Cobra-hypnotizing horn leads, a funky and fun beat, and a very cool melody line come together to create a delightful listening experience. Imagine klezmer converted for the caravan.
Exotic Surf Lounge (Instrumental)
Obviously inspired by the plethora of Vegas instros of the fifties and Booker T. & The MG's, and all flashed out with double picked guitar rages. "Spunky Onions" is a really cool track that's fun and infectious.
Surf (Instrumental)
Dave Zdunich's grand "Ali Baba" is very surf. A little less intense than the Dave and the Customs original, but wonderful nonetheless. The up and down glissandos rage! Wonderful!
Exotic Surf Lounge (Instrumental)
Vintage Jamaican ska rhythms and rich tone deliver a song that uses the break from The Velvetones' "Mr. X" as the main melody line. The break melody line is a bit spooky and sports some nifty guitar work. This is a splendid track that's just plain fun.
Exotic Surf Lounge (Instrumental)
Jazzy in the fifties pop way of using that phrase, with surf licks and island chords. Lots of delicate muted playing. Fanciful and light hearted.
Exotic Lounge (Instrumental)
I don't know why this has the word surf in the title. It's much more of a frat rocker in concept and melody, though it's much less minimized than that implies.
Exotic Surf Lounge (Instrumental)
This is a lush and lover version of Percy Faith's "Theme From A Summer Place." Liquidy and pretty with haunting echo.
