Track by Track Review
Trombone Surf (Instrumental)
Ska sensibility with trombone lead and guitar rhythm lines, and infectious percussion create a beat dominated track. "Reator" is a fun and spunky track.
Trombone Surf (Instrumental)
"Dynamica" is a fun track with great percussion. The melody is carried by guitar. Ska horns and cool guitar hooks.
Surf (Instrumental)
Unusual guitar lines and precede a damped guitar melody with solid drums and bass, and well placed horns and rhythm guitar. "Floripa" is an infectious track.
Surf (Instrumental)
"L'@" is a solid track, with a saucy horn line and pretty guitar melody. It's a little low key here. Excellent writing and musical flow.
Surf (Instrumental)
This is a slow and pretty song with a moody melody that calls to tropical rains and down time between sets. Very nice!
Trombone Surf (Instrumental)
Great drums and bass and plucky guitar ride relentlessly beneath a spooky lead line. haunting and delicate, ringing and liquid silky, "Octopunch" is a real treat. The chemistry is excellent!
Trombone Surf (Instrumental)
With a surf beat and light weight guitar hinting of wistful summer days, "Peter Coffee" is a catchy and fun song with a film score feel.
Surf (Instrumental)
Several of the Brazilian bands cover "Dick Tracy," in part because of its ska roots, and in part because of its splendidly simple riff that's so catchy. Shouts and percussive energy abound. very strong!
