Not Moving - Land Of Nothing and Early More (1982-1987)dotdotdot
artworkAll the early stuff collected from this "pioneering" Italian punk band, including three instros.
Picks: Wipe Out, Pipeline

Track by Track Review

Wipe Out dotdotdot
Garage Surf (Instrumental)

This is dissonant, almost out of tune, with edgy speedy guitar work, and muddy drums. Instead of mimicking the Ron Wilson drum solo, the drummer moves in different directions, and the guitarist fills with pick slides. Semi fuzzy, and definitely primitive.

Surfin' Dead Blues dotdot
Rock (Instrumental)

More minimalist instro fair. Riff rock with surf in the title does not surf make. Dreadful production and barely more than meaningless writing.

Pipeline dotdotdot
Rock (Instrumental)

This is a very grode version of "Pipeline." Swirling rapidly modulated guitar, melody errors, and punk energy. Not Moving likely take this surf classic from Johnny Thunders' cover rather than The Chantays' original. Obscure, fun, and dirty.
