Cecil Moore and the Notes - Diamond Back c/w Rise And Shinedotdotdot
This is a very nice single with a style that would fit in with surf despite being not at all surf. The most notable thing about it is its early use of just one guitar playing a melody line surrounded by rhythm pattern single notes. This is what strong trios do today, but few attempted in 1964.
Picks: Diamond Back, Rise And Shine

Diamond Back dotdotdot
Country (Instrumental)

Finger style noodling in a country setting with rock intentions. Not melodic, just rhythmic and jammy. Still, it displays substantially good guitar work. Very fun!

Rise And Shine dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Echoed guitar twangin' a cool riff with notable early trio arranging where the guitar plays leads amidst single note rhythm patterns to create a full sound. Very cool!
