artworkI don't know what to make of recordings like this. Sequenced stuff just isn't my thing, but then there is the robot Davie Allan-ish instro, and some dark vocals with surfish guitar that seem oddly compelling. This is definitely not surf, but if you're very adventurous and enjoy industrial, then this might get your goat.
Picks: Tuxedo Theory (Part 1), Tuxedo Theory (Part 2), Tuxedo Theory (Part 3)

Track by Track Review

Tuxedo Theory (Part 1) dotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Spooky clockwork drone backs a relentless rhythm and bass pattern under a dark fuzz pattern with panning industrial wind noise. While this is very repetitious and industrial, there's something robot surf about it. It's under a minute, which keeps it from becoming boring.

Tuxedo Theory (Part 2) dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Slightly longer than part 1, the fuzz seems less robotic and more dangerous, and the keyboard patterns make it seem more changing. If you imagine Davie Allan as an android, this would be him. Quite interesting.

Tuxedo Theory (Part 3) dotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Very different from parts 1 and 2, this is like a sonar ping sequence track with a cycling pattern and some sustain. It fades out at about a minute-thirty, is silent for a whole minute, then a spoken word passage ensues, backed by tweaky asylum music.
