 | Manganzoides are Lima, Peru's garage monsters with occasional surf edges. Their instros are sometimes very surfable, three of which grace this 2006 release. |
Picks: El Espia, Submarino Marron, Sumatra

Surf (Instrumental)
"El Espia" opens with an eerie siren, which leads you to a dark and slightly uncomfortable melody that's surf with uncertainty. Big splash chords and fuzz accompaniment, along with a spyish edge. Unusual and tasteful.
Surf (Instrumental)
This is a garagy fuzz intro with nervous whammy notes and a biker fuzz mentality. "Submarino Marron" is spooky and sci-fi, but also very garage. It's just disturbing enough to keep it from becoming comfortable.
Surf (Instrumental)
This is a lovely melody with cool percussion and an easy island flow. Against the normally garage core material Manganzoides does, this is in complete contrast. Very fluid and haunting, with a very nice melody and arrangement.
