 | Yikes! How did I miss this last year! This is the best Christmas release in ages! More than that, it's King Of Hawaii! |
Picks: Greensleeves, Feliz Navidad, Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies, Our Favorite (Christmas) Martian
Track by Track Review
Surf (Instrumental)
This is a rich and splendid version of King Henry VIII's "Greensleeves." Really nice tone, delicate keys, and an excellent arrangement. Rock solid, chunky, and lovely throughout.
Surf (Instrumental)
Exotic jazz percussion, dribbling glissandos, and whammy chords collide in this fine cover of Jose Feliciano's "Feliz Navidad." Bright, happy, and with those almost side show keys, a guaranteed good time.
Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairies

Surf (Instrumental)
Tchaikovsky's splendid melody is played with slide guitar and a solid beat. The arrangement is interesting, and the drums and bass pump. This is simply wonderful!
Our Favorite (Christmas) Martian

Surf (Instrumental)
Bobby Fuller and the Fanatics' "Our Favorite Martian" is the subject of this track. Shimmering tremolo, surf rhythm, punchy drums and bass, and whistling keys create a modern surf wonderland. This is all pleasure!
Roadkill Christmas
Surf (Instrumental)
Jeff Dunham's "Roadkill Christmas" is pumped up and reverbed for a more country than country twang with slithering guitar and gingham soirees. This is too much fun, and by the time that country piano cranks in, you're totally hooked!
