 | This is a fine set of real rockabilly from down Texas way. Being the real thing, it's often unpolished and primal, but it's always dripping credibility and country fried vocals. Of the twenty nine tracks, just one is an instro, and it's less than interesting. Still, relics such as this deserve exposure if only to prevent them from fading away completely. This is a great representative of a bygone era. the liner notes are extensive, with many fine pictures and even a complete discography. |
