Track by Track Review
Surf (Instrumental)
This is perhaps the most competent cover of Sandy Nelson's "Let There Be Drums," which featured Richie Podolor on guitar. The signature tremolo guitar so often used on Ronny Kae's single is richer and much more surfable. This is a nice track!
Surf (Instrumental)
This great surf obscuro rocks with an infectious surf riff, sparkling vibrato, and drums separating the verses. It's simple drama and magnetic hooks, and the gnarly cries of "drums off a cliff" make this one of the great singles. Very cool, and not often heard.
