The Ventures' "Joker's Wild" is done very nicely in vintage mono. Bob Irwin's band does a fine job with this relatively obscure number. Very reverent, and nicely mixed.

Shimmering with tremolo and moody sound, "The Throwaway Age" is easily the better of the two sides of this single. Its island imagery and cool tribal drums really make this endearing. Very cool!
