Track by Track Review

It Won't Last Forever dotdotdot
Rock Surf (Instrumental)

This has a spy feel, like those semi-jazz things that used to occupy espionage soundtracks, but it's also much less melodic than many of those. The drums are excellent!

Godzilla Attacks dotdotdot
Rock Surf (Instrumental)

Japan's signature film monster never bounced like this. While "Godzilla Attacks" is faster than lumbering, it's slower than the playfulness of the melody line might suggest. Great drums, grumbling bass, and a really cool melody line.

Surfin' Lake dotdotdotdot
Rock Surf (Instrumental)

Tchaikovsky's "Swan Lake" is the subject of this instro, with some double picked surfisms and a grodie guitar tone. It's a fresh approach to a classic melody that's been in the surf vein before. It's quite good.
