Track by Track Review

Hullabaloo Beat dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

"Hullabaloo Beat" is a chunky chorded number with surf stomp sensibilities. Maybe a little frat rock-ish, but very fun and full of energy. A small combo bash and a-half.

Hot-Rod Rumba dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

This is a splendid song with a splashy somewhat Spanish feeling, and great muted runs in the bridges. "Hot-Rod Rumba" seems to laugh with you as you listen. A grin is required. Totally infectious and very engaging.

Propeller Beanie dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

"Propeller Beanie" is a chord fest with big chop and an almost Christmassy melody line. Very cool, with warmth and light power.

Girls Come First dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

With the tremolo throbbing in delicate vibrations and the melody leaning on Freddy King for inspiration, "Girls Come First" just might be the happiest thing since the Woodies' "Surfin' With Bernie." Great tune with grins all around.
