The Foul Dogs - No. 1dotdotdot
artworkThis limited reissue of an ultra rare sixties album was probably originally released around 1965 judging from the titles. The vast majority of the songs are British Invasion R&B in the Rolling Stones / Yardbirds / Them, filled out with Buddy Holly, the McCoys and two originals, one of which is a very cool and moody surf instro.

Blue and Green dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

This is a gentle wandering and slightly haunting surf instro with a bit of the island feel and a sad undertone. It's really quite pretty, with a very moody bass line. In some ways, "Blue and Green" has long reminded me of Easy Chair's "Slender Woman." Not that Jeff Simmons' song is really like this, it's just that it has a similar feel.
