"Albatross" is one of a very few instros delivered by this band, and while it is heavily blues oriented, the melodic nature of it has unmistakable seaworthiness. This performance is sweet and liquid, with edge and drama. Peter Green reportedly wrote "Albatross" in tribute to Santo and Johnny's "Sleepwalk."
