This is among the best covers of Lonely Boy aka Lonely Bull, made famous by Herb Alpert's Tijuana Brass on their first outing. This is slow, silky, sensual, sinewy, and gorgeous. Like mercury, it's shiny and liquid, flowing easily from verse to verse, sliding across note barriers. Even the chorus "oo's and ah's" are fittingly beautiful. Incredible track.
