"Krakatoa" is a dark surf instro in a roughly traditional arrangement and style. It sports a huge sound driven by compression, reverb, aggressive energy, and splash. Very cool!

Beginning from delicate notes reverbed to perfection, "The Lion Is Awake" immediately takes on an exotic sound with tribal drums and shimmering tone. This is a spectacular cover of the The Five Notes obscuro. It has all the glory of the original, and a slightly smoother tone. Very Cool!

Zorba & the Greeks' "Shockwave" is very nicely done. Vintage splash, great playing, and extreme reverence. Los Derrumbes have done a wonderful job capturing the original vibe, yet have made it sound fresh and original.

The melody line is engaging, as is the arrangement. The way "Per Un Pugno Di Funghi" progresses and moves is sultry and powerful. The changes are very good, and the textures rich. A superb track!
