The Deformities - S/Tdotdotdotdot
artworkTwo surf instros ride amid five vocals from a band with the kind of moron humor that Len Puch's band Snake-Out used to use. This is very fun material about vampires and ghoulie things that come to dinner with children of the spiky hair generation. I'll bet these guys are too fun live.
Picks: Zombie Twist, Buried Treasure Of Uranus

Zombie Twist dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

This is an interesting merger between horror, punk, and Spanish drama. There's a tight blend of faux-moron and nightmare drama. If you are familiar with the band Christmas and their marvelous Velvet Underground influenced "Fish Eye Sandwich," then imagine mohawk inversions with the Cramps in mind. Way cool!

Buried Treasure Of Uranus dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

"Buried Treasure Of Uranus" is a surf instro with a kind of "Munsters" lowbrow sensibility, punctuated by fluttering glissandos on guitar and bass. The bass work here is quite something. Imagine a variant of Snake-Out with less disturbed thinking.
