Track by Track Review

Rage Against The Horizon dotdotdotdot
Surf Rock (Instrumental)

This is a dark, heavy surf rage. It's not fast, but its tone and melody are very ominous. "Rage Against The Horizon" sports whammy chords, glissando danger, and a splendid melody line, however spares it may be. This song is surely about the rhythm and the the mood.

Panic Point dotdotdotdot
Surf Rock (Instrumental)

Lots of string swipes and glissandos in a dangerous format. Tonally dark, with a rock backtrack. There are elements of "Panic Point" that are classic surf, and others that are heavy rock. It's a storm surf menace.

Broken Arrow dotdotdot
Rock (Instrumental)

This faster number is very rock instro. On the dangerous side, with some cool drumming. "Broken Arrow" has some gritty glissandos, but it is not very surf, and it didn't really stick with me.

Sirens Of The Sea dotdotdotdot
Surf Rock (Instrumental)

Howling stereo wash guitars call from the mist before bass thunder and drums come in to carry the surf guitar. Whammy chords suggest the sea, and the muted reverb pattern calls to classic surf days. "Sirens Of The Sea" has a classic AABA progression, and a splendid break.
