Track by Track Review
The Clefs - The Dream Train Special

Rock (Instrumental)
"The Dream Train Special" is a primitive echoed rockabilly train chuggin' instrumental in the grand style of many of fifties b-side. It's pretty jammy, and not really memorable.
The Delcords - Driving Guitars

Rock (Instrumental)
The Ventures' "Driving Guitars" is amped up and decently surf era, if not surf sounding exactly. Lots of spunk and great drums.
Don and Tony and the Nighthawks - Lightning

Rock (Instrumental)
"Lightning" is a classic big guitar cycling riff rocker of the type that inspired the early surfbands. Its rhythm borders on infectious, and the romping lead guitar work is very fun. This is much more than many such instros, though it remains simple in melody line and structure.
The Royal Knights - Knight-Mare

Rock (Instrumental)
Echoed and dry-muted, "Knight-Mare" is a choppy number with just a touch of presurf in the general tone and a load of charm in the simplicity of its style. Way cool!
