Phil Dirt - Reverb Central - PO Box 1609, Felton, CA 95018-1609 USA Collection: Summer City OST

 | This surf soundtrack sports several vintage Oz surf instros, and a couple of new ones as well. Check out Glenn Cardler's Ratbags' version of "Pipeline." Pretty interesting! |

The Atlantics - Return Of The Dolphins

Surf (Instrumental)
A cold wind blows across thundering drums in a song that's inspired by Fleetwood Mac's "Albatross." Morphed enough to be original, yet reverent enough to demonstrate the surfability of Peter Green's song. Martin Cilia wrote this tribal, dramatic and haunting song.
The Atlantics - Transatlantic

Surf (Instrumental)
Strident glissandos and Peter Hood's incredible drums really focus "Transatlantic" on big surf relentlessly powering into the bay. This is part rock, part surf, and all infectious power.
Phil Butkis - Hawaiian Summer

Surf (Instrumental)
"Hawaiian Summer" is a gentle summary almost acoustic number in the easy listening adventure category. Very pretty, but unremarkable.
Glenn Cardler's Ratbags - Pipeline

Surf (Instrumental)
Warbly post modern partially metal reduction of The Chantays' "Pipeline" to a fairly non-surf sounding track. It's a very original arrangement, and the gentle acoustic break creates a false sense of relief. All-in-all, Glenn Cardler's Ratbags do a refreshing take on this venerable classic with visions of short board chaos in lieu of longboard grace.
The Joy Boys - Murphy The Surfie

Surf (Instrumental)
This is the single the Surfaris covered. High spirited Aussie surf, infectious melody lines, and spunky playing. This is due out from the masters in a couple of months.
