Track by Track Review

Voodoo Rhythm dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

This surfish instro is tribal and echoed, with a tasty little riff, and a sense of the surf. It haunts and entices, and it has a magnetism about it. Somewhat like tribal version of the Safaris' "Lonely Surf Guitar." Quite nice.

Shuffle dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

I don;t think the title fits. This is a surfy number with an infectious though simple riff, and a surf feel. It's not at all like a shuffle. Tasty surf whammy and high-E guitar lines.

Chatter dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Slightly Indian feeling, chunky fifties riffin with surf sensibilities and vibrato. Less interesting than their other two track, but still worth a listen or two. Previously unreleased.

Mazzola dotdotdot
Sub Surf Sax (Instrumental)

Very raw surf with sax. So, was it dubbed after the margarine or something else. I dunno, but it's more fifties based than surf, though it has a surf feel and some surf sound. Pretty darn frat oriented.
