Track by Track Review

Lonesome Emperor - Theme Part 1 dotdotdotdot
Urban Surf (Instrumental)

A few moreorless spoken lines linger here and there in this unusual track. Surf guitar chords pan across the soundscape over a dismal urban hip-hop beat. It's pretty darn interesting and unique.

Lonesome Emperor - Theme Part 2 dotdotdot
Acoustic (Instrumental)

This is a very delicate acoustic follow-on to the first track that gradually sees the distant rise of the surf guitar. It has the kind of sad sound that spaghetti westerns can be so good at.

Makinikarisu - Italian Fuzz
Psychedelic (Instrumental)

Ugly feedback, thick dark fuzz, lumbering beat, Italian keys... yup, "Italian Fuzz" delivers what it promises. The organ lead is cyclic and semi-psychedelic, while the extra dirty fuzz grates at the edges of your senses. Dark, yet somehow captivating.
