Track by Track Review

Monster Mutant dotdotdot
Rock (Instrumental)

Yet another sound is born of the mind of the Mutants. "Monster Mutant" is thick and dangerous, like a scene from King Kong, where the high wooden walls are all that holds back the large one from doing in the torch lit native party. Fuzz and dark emotions ooze from this horrific scene.

Hardcore Prophet Stole My Virginity dotdotdot
Rock (Instrumental)

Some fuzz and a dark melody, pushed forward abreast of pounding drums and thundering bass. Not melodic, but fluid and dangerous in a film score kinda way.

Malaguena dotdotdotdot
Near Surf (Instrumental)

This is a relatively traditional treatment of Ernesto Lecuona's "Malaguena." Not exactly surf, but rather a merger of double picking and thrashy flamenco. Darn fine arrangement, and tuff performance.

Hot Rod Walk dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

A solid grumbly riff and big twang whammy, varied in drive and volume from verse to verse. The guitar-organ duet is nice, and even the organ solo in the middle is nicely done. Groovy track.
