The Cuban Cowboys - dotdotdotdot
artworkThe Cuban Cowboys employ some elements of surf in their show, and are very entertaining as well. These five tacks were pulled from their website, and are represented to be extracts from the soundtrack of a film called Luche Libre. These are very good tracks, though they are entirely too short. A couple would easily be adapted to surf and reverb and even double picking. Excellent material.

Medina's Theme dotdotdot
Latin (Instrumental)

"Medina's Theme"s is a soft solo accordion track for the first half, and then it wraps up for the second half backed with Latin percussion. Pleasantly enjoyable.

Cue 1 dotdotdotdot
Near Surf (Instrumental)

"Cue 1" features beautiful guitar work in a semi spaghetti format. The bounce of the melody and percussion and the shimmer of the vibrato create a very cool composition.

Cue 2 dotdotdotdot
Near Surf (Instrumental)

"Cue 2" is a more Latin rock piece, slow and sultry, moody, and very pretty.

Cue 3 dotdotdot
Near Surf (Instrumental)

Acoustic guitar and salsa percussion spread a scene of light weight mist and warming hearts. Quite nice.

Cue 4 dotdotdotdot
Near Surf (Instrumental)

The percussion and bass are mighty solid in "Cue 4," which sports excellent vibrato lead guitar playing a very surfable riff. This is worth developing into a full fledged surf instro, in my view.
