artworkThis is the lone three song demo from a short lived surf band from Florida. Too bad they didn't survive, because this DAT contains some pretty intense instro surf, as aggro as it comes, and edgier than edgie! The band featured an ex-Surf Piranhas rhythm guitarist.
Picks: Joy Ride, Everybody Up!, Sunset Beach

Track by Track Review

Joy Ride dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

This melodic mid tempo piece is fluid and full bodied. The melody is not quite happy, but certainly motion oriented like a drive on an open road. Some kinda cool feel... you can almost smell the blacktop.

Everybody Up! dotdotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

This is just about as hot as it gets. The Fender IV song pumped to the max, throbbing with butt-kickery, and slammed with major edge.

Sunset Beach dotdotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

The Sentinals song, arranged as the Surf Piranhas did it, but with more edge. It's an interesting treatment, with the same ska back beat as the Surf Piranhas, but with the added intensity, it demands attention while singing of tropical islands. Exceptional.
