 | Another disc full of cowboy jazz and Texas swing from Jim Campilongo and the 10 Gallon Cats. As before, there are a couple of cool tracks, most notably "Harlem Nocturne." No surf, but sunny seaside lap steel and fun. |

Country (Instrumental)
Frothy bouncy cowboy twill with a hot time dancin' beat. very fun.
Country Rock (Instrumental)
This is a mighty sultry version of Earl Hagen's "Harlem Nocturne." It's appropriately slow and dangerous, and drips cactus and hay. The laps steel lead and cowboy ethics add immeasurably to the twang and dockside visions. Very cool!!!
Country (Instrumental)
Tribal tom toms, percussive lap steel, edgie rock guitar, and a noodly riff... it's like an inverted Kraut Rock anthem. Cool and quirky, and dissonant too.
Country (Instrumental)
Slow and soft, like an Earl Hagen theme. It doesn't quite get going, yet percolates slowly in a backwater pond.
Country (Instrumental)
Fast and furious fun in the sun bashing the old piñata. Quirky and jazzy, cowboy and fun.
Country (Instrumental)
Yup, it's dedicated to Pee-wee Herman, and bouncy like it must be. A little chicken bop, a balloon tire bike with tassels, and a sunny day. Totally playful.
Country (Instrumental)
"The Girl With Red Eyes" is a very slow and kissy-faced song, with a moody riff and deliberate pace.
Country Rock (Instrumental)
Throbbing fuzz, twangy tribute to the Grays, with scalpels and coiled phone cords all around.
Country (Instrumental)
The Chord-ettes' harmonized hit gets a new lease on life under the light fingered control of Jim Campilongo and the 10 Gallon Cats. Very smooth and fun.
Country (Instrumental)
Pluckin' and noodling, jammin' and twistin'. Not melodic or fluid, more nervous and uncomfortable.
Country (Instrumental)
Dedicated to the dinky room I first saw the Woodies play in, this soft floaty instro has its roots in cowboy jazz and liquid cactus, and healthy nod to "Twilight Time."
