Surf (Instrumental)
"Beat Box Beach" is a precursor to "Back To Beat Box Beat." Beat box percussion clicks off the tempo, while the guitars layer thick throbbing and darkness across the soundscape. It's interesting how simple and effective this is. Melodic, dark, and dangerous, and engaging through the contradictory styles and sounds.
Surf Fuzz (Instrumental)
This is a very dark number with big reverb chord whammy and space fx. The heaviness and stark imagery are foreboding and yet enticing. There's a sense of the cold harshness of deep space, yet an illusion of alien night surf. Very cool!
Surf (Instrumental)
"Russian Moustache" is darkly textured and spy influenced, with a go-go feeling that lurks beneath the angular edge. Some very cool double picked lines and a couple of nice glissandos.
