Buckaroo Bandits - Unreleased Recording Sessionsdotdotdotdot
artworkWhat a cool band! Spaghetti western, cowboy themes, surf reverb, galloping beats, and cowboy calls. If Strangers 1800 were reverby and melodic, they would want to sound this good! These three songs remain unreleased, except via the players on a couple of websites.
Picks: Desert Sunset, Rifle Range, Dirty Sanchez

Track by Track Review

Desert Sunset dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Lovely reverb tone delivers a liquid melody and dribble chord set that shines with western visions. The open range imagery coupled with the wet tone is superb. Great melody and arranging.

Rifle Range dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Slow moody bass, a sad melody, distant ambiance, and sparkling reverb. "Rifle Range" is an awesome song with grand spaghetti western imagery.

Dirty Sanchez dotdotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

The horses gallop in, and the beat mimics their pace and flair. Flashy, a bit punky structurally, and all wet. Wonderful energy and motion. This is a mono demo, but it sure does need to be fleshed out in the beauty of the stereo recordings.
