The Bollock Brothers - '77 '78 '79dotdotdot
artworkThe Bollock Brothers are a loose affiliation of refugees from major UK bands that form from time to time to play or record. On this album are Paul Cook (Sex Pistols), Steve Jones (Sex Pistols), Geordie (Killing Joke), Youth (Killing Joke), Billy Idol (Generation X), and Arthur Mullard. Recorded live at Studio 21 (nightclub), London. Since these tracks span 3 years and track by track credits are not included, it's hard to say who is playing on "Wipe Out," but the sound is similar to the Greedies Christmas single, so it's probably at least Cook and Jones.

Wipe Out dotdotdot
Surf (Instrumental)

Played in similar fashion to Hanoi Rocks' or '' renditions of "Pipeline," the Bollock Brothers is post-Sex Pistols punkoidal chunk as the main ingredient, and provide solid drums. While nowhere near Ron Wilson's beat, this track is pretty satisfying as covers of Surfaris' "Wipe Out" go. The sleeve does not credit players on individual tracks, but from the sound, I'd guess it's Paul Cook, Steve Jones, Geordie, and Youth with Arthur Mullard. This is listed on the label as "Wiped Out."
