artworkThis is a 1988 solo project from perennial Bay Area rocker Stu Blank whose band the Nasty Habits played working man's rock and roll virtually everywhere for many years. A million local artists play on the various tracks here. Blank covers "The Letter," and one instro is squeezed in for good measure.

Demo Derby dotdotdot
Rock (Instrumental)

Approaching twang, the lead guitar delivers a sub-Duane Eddy riff over a funky pump and grind backtrack. It's a catchy riff, but doesn't reach the level of melody. It is, however, surprisingly durable, and could easily be surfed up. Some demolition derby hot rod sound effects run through it here and there.
