 | This rockabilly band also does some fine instrumental work. This is their second release for Teen Rebel. Of particular note is the Dick Dale-esq "Chaparral" and the tribal-saucy "Istanbul." |

Track by Track Review
Rockabilly (Instrumental)
Rockabilly pickin' and infectious down home rhythm are the hallmarks of this fine instro. Great drums and just plain fun guitar work.
Surf (Instrumental)
Big Dick Dale tribute reverbed twang, an infectious riff, sorta middle eastern, and a warm countrified surf tone. This is a fine track, with spirit and adventure, and solid coastal credentials.
Chicken Bop (Instrumental)
Hard rockin' poultry pluckin' chicken bop, classic string twangin', and no shortage of attack. Pretty darn cool.
Sub Surf Whammy Bar (Instrumental)
Big twango sub surf whammy bar drive and melodic open road riffs, and a real sense of the search for surf. Not quite in the tube, but certainly just inland of the heavies. Very fine track.
Texas Surf (Instrumental)
Big Texas style twangin' fuzzin' assault, with great double picked liquid breaks. It's a riff based number, but rocks the house down with infectious tone and great drums.
Tribal Surf (Instrumental)
The classic middle eastern tune is rocked up and sparkled, played with spirit and fluidity. Warm ands sassy, "Istanbul" is as well delivered as any I've heard.
