Pipelyne
Surf (Instrumental)
While fairly traditional, the organ's pumped circulating chords create a carnival effect with a 1965 flair. Spirited and on the dark side, yet fulfilling the forward-looking surf requirement. Slower than most versions these days, and retitled to fit their image and theme, "Pipelyne" (The Chantays' "Pipeline") has a garage band feel with the coming garage-psych sound just around the corner. On the down side, the melody is wrong and incomplete, and the playing is incredibly stiff. Cruddy mono basement sound makes it unlistenable.
BeAcH AtTaCk
Surf (Instrumental)
"BeAcH AtTaCk" is in harsh and awful stereo, but continues Beachkrieg!'s penchant for horrid sound. The melody riff is more or less meaningless, and the structure more like a bad garage band.
Der Polizei
Surf (Instrumental)
Aside from the use of faux police sirens, "Der Polizei" is just a really stiff frat instro with no direction. Amateur would be a step up!
